BCA Technology develops portable leak detection and diagnostic tools for HVAC and fire protection systems, including wireless fire extinguisher monitoring to detect removal or tampering. A small explosion involving several AA-sized foreign-manufactured batteries occurred at their booth during the Expo’s opening. The event was thoroughly investigated.
Blackline Safety produces connected gas detectors and safety wearables for lone-worker monitoring. They provide unique, integrated hardware and cloud-connected software for safety monitoring.
CAPSOL LLC provides UL Listed products and related services to enhance life-safety. Their pre-event and emergency notification systems are designed to deal with bad weather, active shooter, violence, and unique emergency scenarios, both public and private.

Burnblock is a Danish-based company that develops advanced powdered and liquid-based fire-retardant solutions for structural fire protection. Their biodegradable products are used in coatings, plywood, MDF, and natural fibers. For example, reclaimed timber can be treated with Burnblock fire-retardant products through a deep penetration process that preserves the look and feel of the wood while providing vital, passive fire protection.
Dräger, a German company founded in 1889, produces industrial and critical care products such as gas detection, flame detection, respiratory protection, thermal imaging cameras, and medical safety equipment. Their U.S. headquarters are in Telford, Pennsylvania, with design and manufacturing operations in Houston, Andover and throughout the world.
FireAvert LLC's mission is: "To protect lives and property by offering cutting-edge fire prevention technology." Their products seek to avoid kitchen stove fires through automatic stove shutoff devices that include notification features.
FireDos is a German company that designs, engineers, and manufactures high-quality fixed and portable foam proportioners and monitors for fire-fighting. More than 15,000 FireDos proportioners have been installed worldwide.
FireFoil of Las Vegas demonstrated their aluminum-based fire shields designed to protect structures from radiant and convective heat including airborne members.
HyperSpike is the brand name for Ultra Electronics' networked voice alarm loudspeakers used in mass notification systems. Their innovative acoustic technology and reliability is well-known in the most demanding exterior environments. HyperSpike products currently hold the Guinness Book of World Records for the loudest electro-acoustic projection device at 182 decibels! Their products are manufactured in Indiana and Michigan.
Kennedy Valve, part of McWane Incorporated of Birmingham, Alabama, produces underground fire hydrant and valve products for waterflow control. Daniel Kennedy first began making gate valves in Lower Manhattan in 1877.
Kirloskar Fire Pumps are known for producing a wide range of fire protection pumps and packages, including standard firefighting pumpsets, FM and UL fire pumps, multi-stage multi-outlet pumps, and containerized firefighting solutions.
Lehavot produces fire detection and suppression systems for industrial and commercial use, as well, for floating-roof petroleum storage. Commercial examples include systems for restaurants, food trucks, buses, and off-road vehicles. They also produce linear fire heat detectors that analyze the rate of temperature rise.
The Lenexa Fire Department of Kansas provides municipal fire protection, emergency response, and prevention training. Their department's fire hydrant waterflow standards require unique, color-coded bands on private hydrants to indicate expected waterflows to responding firefighters. Lenexa Fire Department personnel are considered to be innovators in this area of fire prevention, pre-planning and fire protection with the private sector.
Lightning Dome Protectors is a U.S. Distributor for Dinnteco, America. They distribute and supply protection systems against atmospheric discharges that include lightning and electromagnetic pulses.

National Foam's recent Universal Green 1%-3% version of a synthetic fluorine-free foam concentrate was launched in 2024. The UL 162 test method uses a small pan fire of hydrocarbon or polar solvent fuel to evaluate extinguishing and burn-back times. AFFF and fluorinated foams containing "forever chemicals" are prohibited in many jurisdictions.
Performance Pipe, headquartered in Plano, Texas, and owned by Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, produces high-density polyethylene piping for water, gas, and fire protection infrastructure.
Potter Roemer of California is a leading manufacturer and distributor of fire protection hardware—including standpipe and hose systems, fire extinguisher and valve cabinets, hydrants, hose valve connections, and architectural enclosures.
Quam’s “Voice of Intelligibility” system provides voice evacuation speakers and amplifiers with high speech clarity. Their widely-recognized commercial speakers are manufactured in Chicago.
Safety Storage Inc. manufactures custom-engineered hazmat storage buildings and secure cabinets for hazardous material storage.
Strike First Fire Extinguishers of Scarborough, Ontario produce UL and ULC-Listed portable fire extinguishers for residential and commercial use.
Tomoken Hose is a Vietnamese manufacturer of 2 and 2.5-inch fire attack hoses constructed with a PVC liner and fabric-reinforced outer cover.
Trans-Matic Manufacturing of Holland, Michigan is a leader in precision deep-drawn metal stamping, progressive die stamping, and prototyping. Their products include sleeves, tubing, housings and PEX connectors.
Tyco, a widely-recognized name in fire detection, suppression, and security systems, is part of Johnson Controls. Their branded Tyco fire sprinklers, Simplex fire alarm systems, and Ansul fire protection systems are widely known.
UL Solutions offers safety consulting, testing, and certification services for fire and life-safety products.
The United Soybean Board promotes soybean-based products and sustainable bio products, including bio-oil applications.
UTEC, a Chinese sprinkler manufacturer, promotes their UL Listing for certain half-inch K5.6 sprinklers. Efforts to achieve UL Listings or FM Approvals for other K8.0 models may be "in development" so be sure to check the latest Listings and Approval guides.
And finally, Victaulic manufactures high-quality grooved, pipe-joining systems that include connectors, grooved couplings, and valves for automatic fire sprinkler and other fluid systems.
